VASCO ROSSI NESSUN PERICOLO ... PER TE WORLD TOUR
'97
An album - NESSUN PERICOLO ... PER TE - once again
provocative, an enormous success which now gives its
name to Vasco Rossi's international tour together
with his band in April and May, from the United States
and Canada to Europe.
Recorded in Los Angeles and Italy, the CD contains
classic author ("Un gran bel film", Mi si escludeva"),
ironic and provocative pop ("Nessun pericolo...per
te", "Io perderò") and certain splendid ballads like
"Sally" and "Gli Angeli".
A sensational tour - 40 dates almost always sold
out - which lasted for more than 4 months and which
reconfirmed Vasco Rossi as the leading rocker.
A video - "Gli Angeli" - directed by the great director
Roman Polanski, presented at the International Film
Festival in Venice, last September. With a great atmosphere,
Polanski was able to have Vasco float in space thanks
to special effects created especially for the video.
A book - "Diario di bordo del capitano" published
by Mondadori, explosive and transgressive, a sales
record and already a cult book.
In short, it was the year of Vasco Rossi and his
rock. From the latest investigation on youngsters,
their tastes and tendencies, Vasco has emerged as
a myth, together with Sylvester Stallone and Sean
Connery, a more loved and attractive personality than
Madonna and Che Guevara...
And finally the cinema is calling Vasco and is offering
him screenplays which are very interesting. But there
is "nessun pericolo (no danger)" ..., rock will not
lose one of its main players. In fact, the adventure
continues on the road again. Three years after his
last trip abroad, after the "Gli spari sopra", Vasco
is returning with his band to travel the world and
will do it in two months, April and May.
After the first two gigs in New York and Toronto,
the "Captain & his crew" will move to Europe stopping
in Belgium, Germany (Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich),
Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia and Holland. Alongside
Vasco on the stage, the band will be composed as follows:
